 Happy Tuesday! Today in class we started with a bell ringer and talked about what America has and why it is significant. We also anotated the poem I, Too By Langston Hughes. The poem was very good and really interesting. Today has been so long it feels like a Monday because of the long weekend. I can’t wait for golf practice today after school!

Spring break

 This year for spring break I went to seaside Florida. I went to the beach every day with a lot of my friends. It was so nice to have a break from school and be at the beach which is my favorite place. I can’t wait for summer when I can go to the beach all the time. I spent every day taking on the beach and watching the sunset. Most night I dressed up and went out for dinner. Some of the restaurants down there are my favorite. I look forward to them every year. I can’t wait to go back again for my senior year!

 Today in class we read a rose for Emily. We read this as a class and answered the questions along as we read. This story was very interesting and didn’t end how I thought it would. We also watched a short film representation of the story.
